SPP is continuously expanding its product range and the markets it supplies into. This requires the recruitment of high quality/high potential candidates to become key members of a growing team.

Due to this growth and expansion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Severfield (Products & Processing) in Sherburn near Malton.  

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have appropriate experience in the electrical design of AC and DC LV electrical installations. The ability to perform lighting calculations and some experience of integrating communications, fire and intruder alarm systems would be beneficial.  Experience carrying out detailed Electrical Building Services Design Engineering in the context of modular construction or buildings would be beneficial.

Candidates should have a degree qualification or equivalent experience. The role will be office based and the successful candidate will become a vital part of a busy and dynamic design team.

Reporting to the Engineering Design Manager, you will work as part of the team producing design solutions using AutoCAD, Trimble Connect (Amtech) and DIALux. You will work alongside other Electrical Engineers and work with colleagues who will turn your designs into 3D layouts.
